NIGEL DIXON-WARREN
Managing Director
Nigel Dixon-Warren, a citizen of Botswana, began his role as a consultant and Director in July 2022 and January 2023, respectively. He brings 33 years of experience in tax, accounting, audit, and advisory fields, with a 24-year tenure at KPMG in Botswana, where he was the Country Senior Partner until September 2018, focusing on Tax and Advisory Services. After leaving KPMG, Nigel established Dixon-Warren & Associates in October 2018, offering services in corporate restructuring, insolvency, tax and deal advisory, and public sector reform.
He has also been an influential member of various prestigious boards and committees. Notably, he was the President of the Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA) from 2010 to 2011, served as the Chairman of Air Botswana from 2012 to 2015, and was a member of the Botswana Economic Advisory Council for four years. Additionally, he chaired the World Bank’s Doing Business – Paying Taxes subcommittee and remains active on the BICA Tax Committee.
Adam Dixon-Warren

Adam holds a Bachelor of Business Science (Finance with Accounting) and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Accounting from the University of Cape Town, and is a member of both BICA and SAICA. His work reflects a strong commitment to transparency, strategic value creation, and sustainable business growth.

In her role as the Office Manager at DWA, Amanda Evans is responsible for overseeing daily office operations, managing administrative staff, and ensuring seamless coordination of office activities. Her keen attention to detail and commitment to exceptional customer service underpin her approach, making her a vital asset in maintaining operational efficiency and supporting the firm’s strategic goals.
Amanda holds a Bachelor of Business and Commerce degree in Management and Marketing from Monash South Africa University. With over 15 years of experience in executive support and office management, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role at DWA.
Memory Gideon
Tax Consultant
Memory Gideon is a Tax Consultant at DWA, specializing in assisting clients with financial statement compilation, tax query analysis and resolution, tax disputes resolution, tax opinions, applications for tax incentive schemes and agreements, transfer pricing analysis and reporting, and tax registration and compliance services. Memory’s expertise in the Income Tax Act and Transfer Duty Act underpins her role, ensuring comprehensive and precise advisory services.
Memory graduated from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University with a Post Graduate Diploma in Accountancy and a BCom in General Accounting. She is also a part-qualified member of the Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA), with expected completion of her qualification in July 2024.
Terence Brick
Associate Tax Consultant
Terence Brick serves as an Associate Tax Consultant at DWA, specializing in tax compliance and consulting. With a wealth of experience and deep expertise in deferred tax, Terence ensures that clients receive comprehensive and precise advisory services.
Terence holds a BCom degree and is a Chartered Accountant (CA). Before joining DWA, he led the tax department at Deloitte Botswana for several decades. Now, he brings his extensive knowledge to DWA, enhancing the firm’s capabilities and ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction.
TUMELO RANNAU
Associate Tax Consultant
Tumelo Rannau serves as an Associate Tax Consultant at DWA, specializing in tax compliance, disputes, awareness and consulting. Tumelo ensures that clients are up to date with different tax changes and remain compliant in different transactions they enter into.
Tumelo holds a BA Hons degree in Accounting & Finance and is a Chartered Accountant (CA) with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Before joining DWA, he worked for different private and public entities such as KPMG, PwC, AB Inbev BV Africa and WUC. Now, he brings his extensive knowledge to DWA, enhancing the firm’s capabilities and ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction.
KEOTSHEPILE JANSEN
Associate Tax Consultant
Keotshepile Jansen serves as an Associate Tax Consultant at DWA with over 12 years of experience. She trained as a tax consultant in two audit firms, namely KPMG and Deloitte. She has spent the last 7 years working as a tax specialist in the banking and financial services sector. Her tax competencies include tax compliance, tax advisory and tax risks management, tax dispute resolutions, tax accounting for reporting purposes, assistance with setting up tax functions and internal processes, analyzing products and services for tax compliance, tax account reconciliation and tax registration with the Revenue Authority in Botswana.
Keotshepile holds a BCom in Law degree from the University of Pretoria and a post Graduate Diploma in Taxation from the Botswana Accountancy College.
OMPHEMETSE CHIMBOMBI
Transfer Pricing Specialist
Omphemetse Chimbombi is a Trainer and Consultant in transfer pricing. She has over 27 years of experience in Finance, Audit, and Taxation.
Part of her work experience in taxation includes working for KPMG Botswana as a Tax Manager. She earned most of her work experience in tax through working for Botswana Unified Revenue Service, where she was accredited as a Transfer Pricing Trainer by the partnership between the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and the African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF).
She privately consulted and prepared Transfer Pricing (TP) documentation for a number of Multinational Entities in Botswana.
She served on the Local Enterprise Authority (LEA) Board from August 2019 to August 2022, where she served on the Finance and Audit Committee and the Technical Committee.
She holds a Master of Finance and Control (Amity University), Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting (University of Botswana) and Advanced Taxation Course (Botswana Accountancy College).
Mark Sims
Associate Consultant
Mark specialises in financial management and oversight of public and development sector organisations, as well as regulatory compliance, governance and training. Mark is also an experienced project manager, used to working with multiple stakeholders, supporting complex governance arrangements and engaging with staff and officials at all levels.
Mark is a fellow chartered accountant with over twenty years of experience in audit, accounting and lecturing, including four years as a consultant with KPMG and six years as a senior advisor in the Botswana Ministry of Finance. Mark brings a wealth of experience in public sector finance consulting, governance and ethics advisory and related professional services.
FREDDIE ELS
Consultant – Financial Reporting
Freddie has been an Independent External Auditor with 38 years of experience, including 25 years as a Senior Audit Partner working in the professional services sector for public and private sector clients. Key competencies include external audits, internal audits, risk advisory services and various consultancy engagements.
Freddie has been engaged in all aspects of managing a professional services firm and has been responsible for the financial functions and information technology functions of a firm in Botswana during the last 23 years.
Freddie is a member of the Chartered South Africa, CA (SA) and is a Fellow of the Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants (FCA). He brings a wealth of experience to the firm.
Megan Dixon-Warren
Marketing and Facilities Officer
Megan Dixon-Warren leads the marketing and facilities management efforts at DWA. She is instrumental in developing and implementing strategic marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and attract clients. Additionally, Megan manages the facilities to ensure a productive and efficient work environment.
Her creative problem-solving abilities and empathetic approach enable her to bring a unique perspective to her role, fostering innovative solutions and strong relationships within the team and with clients.
Tsaone Tsimane
Professional Assistant
As a Professional Assistant at DWA, Tsaone Tsimane plays a crucial role in providing administrative support to senior-level employees. His responsibilities include coordinating travel arrangements, handling correspondence, managing schedules, and assisting with liquidation processes. Tsaone also manages facilities under liquidation, ensuring efficient and smooth operations.
Tsaone holds a Diploma in Business Management from ABM University College. He has valuable experience in voluntary liquidation processes and facility management, which he brings to his role at DWA.
Pearl Setshedi
Professional Assistant
Pearl Mmabosa Setshedi is a Professional Tax Assistant at DWA, where she handles a variety of tax-related responsibilities. Her role includes tax registration and compliance, submission of monthly and annual returns, tax account reconciliations, tax query analysis and resolution, tax disputes resolution, tax opinions and advisory, and tax planning. Additionally, she assists with office administration, risk management, and business development.
Pearl holds a Diploma in Accounting and Business Studies from the University of Botswana and is completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Taxation from Botswana Accountancy College. Her expertise in online re-registrations of non-profit organizations ensure that DWA clients receive comprehensive and effective tax services.
BAME LEKGOTHU
Professional Assistant
Bame Lekgothu is an astute Risk Management and Insurance professional with over 4 years in the in the automotive, finance and insurance industry. Bame has a proven track record of new business administration, client onboarding, relationship management and claims management. She has strong exposure to compliance management, risk assessment, policy development and the implementation of robust compliance programmes to ensure the best practices.
In Bame’s role as a Professional Assistant, with a risk-based approach, she is responsible for driving the effective implementation of DWA’s Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Financing Terrorism (AML/CFT) and compliance programmes, ensuring adherence to KYC regulations and DWA policies. Very importantly, Bame is responsible for smooth client onboarding and compliance with BICA and all applicable regulatory requirements.
Bame holds a Bachelor of Risk Management and Insurance from Ba Isago University, and a Certificate of Proficiency (COP) in Short Term Insurance. Bame is also a Licentiate member of the Insurance Institute of South Africa (LIISA).
Isabell Ketshabathupa
Associate in Digital Transformation and Analytics
As an Associate in Digital Transformation and Analytics, Isabell supports the firm’s technology ambitions by helping design and implement effective solutions that enhance operational performance. She also contributes to the advisory practice through advanced data analysis, dashboard development, digital due diligence, technology maturity assessments, and the preparation of insights that empower clients to make informed decisions.
Isabell holds a BSc in Actuarial Science from the University of Kent and an MSc in Data Science from the University of Greenwich. Before joining the firm, she worked in the highly regulated Lloyd’s of London Insurance Market, where she led the development of an internal application to automate data processes and supported the actuarial function by offloading computationally intensive tasks into code. She brings a blend of quantitative expertise and developer experience, helping bridge the gap between analytics and technology as she supports the firm’s journey toward a more AI‑enabled and technologically advanced future.
